JOB OVERVIEW As a team player based in a rural location significantly removed from a regional administrative office, the Team Leader Specialist provides supports in a variety of ways to assure and enhance the development, sustainability and quality of programmatic service delivery qualifications related to Hopes Beliefs, Values, Mission, Visions and Expectations. The responsibilities of this position includes providing supervision to and recruiting for direct support professionals (DSPs), care coordination, building community supports, assuring adequate staffing levels and service delivery, community education, direct supports and other duties required to promote and implement Hope services in the North Slope Borough. These duties are often carried out without on-site supervision and therefore require the Team Leader Specialist to be the "face of Hope" in the North Slope Borough.The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm; however, there is some variability due to caseload and needs of people receiving Hope's supports.
